Our Prosecutions team enforces the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) in all participating jurisdictions in Australia.

In this section of the site you can find more information about going to court including how to prepare for court, tips on attending court and lodging an appeal, and understanding some common legal terms. We also have information on what legal services are offered by the courts in your state.

If you are challenging a penalty or infringement notice, you can find out what to do if you are electing to attend court. You also have the option of requesting a review or withdrawal of an infringement notice/expiation notice or charge.
